Recently I got my Topbox monthly beauty box for October with new beauty products, so in today's story we're doing unboxing. This month's box is a little different from the one that I got last month, but I still enjoy the surprise element of these monthly beauty boxes. When I first subscribed to this service back in August, I just wanted to try it out, to see how it works, to keep my subscription for a couple of months and then cancel it, but here I am, three months later, when I still didn't make up my mind to cancel my Topbox subscription, and my order for next month, for November, is already placed, so I'll get at least one more beauty box. But then again, I always have time to cancel my beauty subscription, it's just that I realized that I really enjoy it, and I'm not ready to cancel it as of yet.
These are the products that I got this month.
Elizabeth Arden

Jor'el Parker

Bring out your body’s sparkling natural luster and tone with Fango Mud. 30 ml, available at HarveyPrince.com.
Revlon
Professional Equave Hydro Nutritive detangling conditioner
Revlon Professional Equave Hydro Nutritive detangling conditioner, a light, keratin enriched formula that instantly leaves hair moisturized, soft and shiny. Shake, apply on damp or dry hair and comb. Do not rinse, style as desired. 9 ml, available at Professional Salons, Trade Secrets, Chatters.
Eyeko London
Fat Eye pencil stick
An innovative chubby eye liner which creates the perfect smoky eye. Highly pigmented, Fat Eye Smoke pencil stick can be used to line, shade and define the eyes and has a retractable formula for effortless application and precision. The smoky charcoal shade will add a touch of glamour to your eye makeup and is the ideal colour for the iconic smoky eye. 4g, available at Sephora and Eyeko.com.
I am the most excited about the Revlon detangler, it's a type of product that I appreciate very much. My hair is very high maintenance, it's thin and very fine, it breaks and entangles easily after washing, so a good hair detangler is utmost useful for me. I started using hair detanglers about a year ago, so getting this one in my monthly box proved to be very convenient. Besides my usual hair care with shampoo and conditioner, and weekly hair masks, I also use detangler for my hair after each wash for an easier brushing. I just finished my previous detangler last night, so this one from Revlon comes up next. And because it's in a small format, I have already bought my next one, proactively so, from L'Oreal (full size format), so that I'm not left out uncovered without a good detangler in my bathroom, not even for a day.
I am also excited about the EYECO smoky eye stick. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll play with it over this weekend to see how it works.
This mud mask that I got in my box this month also sounds interesting. The package says "use on face and body", but because it's so small, 30 ml, I will only use it on my face, and maybe on my neck.
I got one more item in my monthly beauty box this October, an Elizabeth Arden coupon, however I'm not sure if I get the chance to use it. I'm not such a big fan of coupons, I never have enough time to use them to really take advantage of those offers. Even with my monthly beauty box, I have already discarded a couple of coupons that I received in my previous monthly boxes because they expired before I got the chance to use them for shopping.
Have a great weekend everyone!
